This is a single course for preparation for calculus. This course will include an analysis of functions and their graphs; trigonometric and inverse trig functions and their graphs; solving equations and applications involving trig functions, and polar coordinates and vectors. Credit toward graduation cannot be received for both courses in any of the following pairs: MATH 1710/1730, MATH 1720/1730. (Same as TN eCampus MATH 1730) Semester Availability (Subject to Change): Fall, Spring, Summer PREREQUISITE: ACT MATH subscore of 21 or equivalent, or completion of MATH 1005 with a grade of B or higher, or completion of MATH 1130 with a grade of C or higher or MATH 1710 with a grade of C or higher. COREQUISITE: None GEN ED: Course can be used to meet Minimum General Education Core requirements.
