DAST 1590 - Clinical Practicum II |
A continuation of Clinical Practicum I. A supervised clinical experience in general dentistry to master basic dental assisting skills. Emphasis is on the role of the dental assistant in operative dentistry and patient care. Semester Availability: (Subject to Change) SUMMER PREREQUISTE: DAST 1570 CONTACT HOURS: 300 clinical hours per semester. CAREER COURSE: Designated primarily for vocational/career programs. This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
