EMT Field Internship is one of two clinical courses designed to allow the student to meet all psychomotor and affective outcomes for the clinical requirements of an EMT program and build upon the concepts and knowledge learned during prior and/or concurrent courses. Semester Availability(Subject to Change): FALL and SPRING PREREQUISITE: Admission to the EMT program. COREQUISITES: EMSB 1601, EMSB 1602, EMSB 1101, EMSB 1102, and EMSB 1111 Contact hours 48 clinical hours per semester CAREER COURSE: Designated primarily for vocational/career programs. This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
