This is a one-semester course covering selected topics in Life Science. Topics include: the scientific method, the chemistry of life, the cell and functions of cellular organelles, photosynthesis, cellular respiration, protein synthesis, genetics, DNA, cell reproduction, evolution, microbes, fungi, plants, animals, and ecology. Credit in only one of the following courses can be used toward graduation or general education requirements: BIOL 1010, 1020, 1030, 1110, 1120.
