This course is intended for students whose program of study requires one 3-hour mathematics course. This course is designed to provide insight into the nature and applications of mathematics. Topics include but are not limited to the following: Critical Thinking, Set Theory, Logic, Consumer Mathematics and Finance, Counting Methods and Probability Theory, and Basic Statistics. (Same as TN eCampus Math 1010) Semester Availability (Subject to Change): Fall, Spring, Summer PREREQUISITE:ACT Math subscore of 19 (or equivalent), or completion (with a grade of C or higher) of MATH 0101, MATH 0105, MATH 0153, or a higher course, or completion of Learning Support Competencies 1-5, or concurrent registration in MATH 0101./p> COREQUISITE: None Contact Hours: 45 Lecture hours per semester GEN ED: Course can be used to meet Minimum General Education Core requirements.
