This course applies the core concepts that provide the basis for knowledge, skills and attitudes that are essential for providing safe nursing for clients with alterations in mental health including pharmacological management. Semester Availability: (Subject to Change) Fall (Gallatin, Livingston), Spring (Springfield) PREREQUISITE:NRSG 1710 HOURS: 30 lecture hours and 45 lab/clinical hour per semester. CAREER COURSE: Designated primarily for vocational/career programs. This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution.
