PHIL 1040 - Introduction to Ethics

A rational inquiry into the origin, development, and application of moral values and behavior.  Includes a survey of major ethical theories with an emphasis on application to contemporary moral problems.  (Same as TN eCampus PHIL 121)

Semester Availability (Subject to Change): Fall, Spring, Summer

PREREQUISITE: Acceptable placement scores or completion of all Learning Support Competencies in Reading and Writing or concurrent enrollment in ENGL 0810 and READ 0810 as determined by placement.

COREQUISITE: None

GEN ED: Course can be used to meet Minimum General Education Core requirements.
